Motherhood: The Fight or Flight

I haven’t posted in a long time. So long in fact, that I only realised when I got a reminder that my site had been renewed automatically – I even missed the reminder emails that this would happen – which made me think I should *try* to post again.

The reason I have been MIA is that as you may or may not know from previous posts, I was pregnant and gave birth to my baby boy in November. Since then and even the lead up to it, nothing was smooth or what you would call a “textbook delivery or recovery”, everything was met with numerous 1% chances which made the whole journey incredibly difficult and I would say only up until about a month ago, do I feel like I am just coming out of the haze.

Before I risk writing a negative post on this life changing experience – as I do count my blessings for him and being a mum everyday – I just wanted to say I am alive, well and trying to navigate the crazy and non-stop world of motherhood!

I’m not sure I will start posting about my birth experience or the trials and tribulations on how this is all going, as it is is still quite raw and something I am working on myself first and foremost. However, this may change in the future, but in the meantime I want to try and post about all the things I love and miss talking about and hope you enjoy reading too.

So if there is anything you want to hear more about then let me know and I will do my best to do some new, exciting content. In between naps and feeding, I might just manage 1 post a week!

Fingers Crossed.
