Slogan Tees- How Ganni Made This An Essential

I love a good t-shirt in summer. There is something so easy about throwing on your favourite and adding a simple denim skirt or cropped jeans and Birkenstocks.

Last year I kept returning to my white pocket tee with an embroidered pineapple — The fruit of my life, alongside Avocados (Yes they are fruits too!). So as spring is just appearing and summer, I hope, only a few weeks away I will start transitioning my wardrobe and looking to add some new pieces.

One trend which isn’t going anywhere and in my opinion, is probably the easiest and most appealing, is the Slogan Tee. We have Ganni to thank for this when back in August they debuted their SS17 ‘Space Cowboy’ collection; who doesn’t love cowboys and astronauts? Me for one…I am a secret obsessive of Country Music, which I listen to daily and also have a lifelong geek-love affair for anything aeronautical (Airports, Planes and NASA). No surprise then that when I saw the highlights from the show I already wanted half of the collection!

Ganni has been a favourite of mine for some years, I first came across them when I worked at My-Wardrobe.com (now defunct) in 2011 and their business model was showcasing new emerging designers, so in essence, what Avenue 32 and My Theresa now do. Ganni is a Danish brand and it’s appeal is the effortless approach to dressing and filling your wardrobe with easy to wear staples which you will keep on wearing.

If you still don’t believe me and are sceptical about this trend, just take a look on Instagram at all the bloggers and stylists wearing them. Gucci’s version was of course a sell out, and of course pricey, but with so many variations on this trend you can’t go wrong, but for serious style credentials opt for a white tee and red slogan as this is a ‘micro trend’ and selling out everywhere!

Victoria Beckham Fashion Stole My Smile

Not only this, but even Victoria Beckham has just dropped her version of the slogan tee (rather unusually, poking fun at herself) which if that isn’t reason enough to buy one, then I don’t know what is?

See below for my favourite picks available to buy now.
