The best time of the year for fashion (IMO) is August for two reasons. I may or may not have said but I am pregnant and just entering my 3rd trimester (eeek!) and I couldn’t tell you where the last 7 months have gone! From finding out – a totally lovely surprise – to consultant appointments, the horrendous 1st trimester sickness (if anyone tells you otherwise they are lying), working through a mammoth AW18/SS19 season and then an amazing vacay in the Mid-West during my 2nd trimester; the time really has just vanished.
Chi-Town, The Second and Windy City, The Real Gotham.

Dare I say it, but summer might have arrived…10 days in and this consistent sunshine is glorious. I love the idea of being more playful when it comes to summer dressing, but in reality I really need staples to anchor my wardrobe so that my morning routine is simple and I can get out of the door quickly (who else snoozes their alarm?).
Lisbon is fast becoming a popular city break from the UK because of the cheap return flights and short flight times. Think of it as the new Barcelona, but a lot cheaper and less well trodden.
